A simple yet unique save the earth concept

Hi guys,I have just arrived from Singapore on a trip to find venues suitable for showcasing talent.On the 6 day trip there,one venue I think is worth recommending is the Esplanade.Equipped with afew art galleries and a concert hall with a max.1800 seating,this centre is,in my opinion,the best aesthetical hall in Singapore.

With an unique architecture of part of a durian(as I was told by locals),I was awed by an art piece,the"Warm Machine",by Chiew Sien Kuan.I was later informed that this sculpture Movement in the City attempts to construct, label and depict the “multi-centre” viewpoints of spatial perspective in the form of a recognisable machine – a car, It is a metaphor of our social system of motion, a form of creation enabling people to conceal within the car – a “box” as a moving force for mobility and freedom.I was amazed at what Chiew Sien Kuan had done - do a masterpiece to match society.

The Esplanade also has a mall which is small but not to be looked down upon.While I was walking around the mall,I suddenly realised that sunlight is used at some areas for lighting.I thought this was really a "green" concept that Denver never seems to have.Simple and energy conserving - I hope that more countries around the world will adapt this concept and put it to good use.

After a persuasive long talk with the security guards there,I was finally allowed to take a peek at the concert hall.It was totally grand and I could picture a band playing in the hall.And although I asked to take a few pictures,the security guards who had brought me in told me firmly that photo-taking was a strict no-no.

Walking out of the Esplanade,I was suddenly amazed that I had benefitted so much from this trip to the Esplanade,Singapore.

These are more infomation which i find the esplanade is to be proud of and of its location:

The esplanade is easily accessed by the various transport systems in Singapore.There is an underground Train station which brings you to almost any where on Singapore. In the near by, there are also a few bus stops. the esplanade's courtyard also makes space for a mini jetty, where a river taxi tour conducts its stops when visiting the many scenic views along the Singapore river. This way, other tourist visiting Singapore who do not consider watching a performance at the esplanade, after looking at the majestic beauty of the esplanade might even reconsider.

The esplanade is also a perfect location as it is nearby the bustling city, one of Singapore's perfect location to have a sumptuous meal, conduct a shopping spree* and visit many tourist attraction. The city also houses many well known hotels such as Marina Mandarin Singapore, Mandarin oriental Singapore and pan pacific hotel, all of which you can find accomodation, spending a holiday of luxury after the performance you will enjoy doing in the esplanade.

*these shopping sprees are "day-light robbers"; most goods sold here are branded and they are SERIOUSLY EXPENSIVE!

Last but not least, the esplanade is just a spot where no foreigner, no Singaporean , or you, are allowed to miss.With the esplanade having so many capabilities like a shopping centre in it, the incredible seating capacity and the outdoor of the esplanade being able to host so much more, plus the city in its immediate vincinity, YOU, and many others, would simply love the esplanade.
